Being a general is never easy. Flashback Games, on the other hand, has tried to make it a little more fun by updating its entertaining war business, with three new maps in a new game mode. These are called “Chess Maps” and take place on a board with 81 hexagons. This means that the maps are significantly smaller than normal. To resemble the immortal and fantastic board game chess, which is more popular than ever, the players’ pieces are also symmetrical. The update also includes 12 normal multiplayer maps. These are:

  • Poland North
  • El Alamein
  • Moscow
  • Ardennes
  • Leningrad
  • Kasserine Pass
  • Lake Balaton
  • Rhine
  • Berlin
  • Gazala
  • Barbarossa
  • Cobra

The update is out today on Steam, GoG, Epic, Slitherine’s website, but not quite yet on the Microsoft Store. If you like Panzer Corps 2, there is reason to make a return visit. What do you think of the title?

Small maps are perfect to complete in a few hours, during the evening.
