Participants will have to complete a 5,274-meter loop 8 times, which will go from the Hôtel de Ville to the Quais de Seine, passing under the Pont d’Arcole, the Pont Notre-Dame, the Pont au Change or the Pont Neuf. . The race will take place in the early evening to allow participants to prepare in conditions similar to those of the Paris 2024 marathon for all. “Night running will also offer an exceptional experience to the 40,000 participants combining sport and entertainment, the opportunity to discover Paris and some of its most beautiful monuments as well as the Paris region in a completely new way”, rejoice the organizers in the press release. Amélie Mauresmo, Olympic vice-champion in Athens in 2004, speaks of this Olympic race as “a sporting challenge that motivates me enormously! Participating in this unique race is a dream.”
A race that aims to be inclusive at all levels, since each team will have to field a minimum of two women to start, while the course will be accessible to all types of handicap.
