Daniel Caligiuri will leave FC Augsburg in the summer after three years. According to information from ‘Sky’, the 35-year-old and the Fuggerstädter have agreed not to extend the expiring contract.

Caligiuri would like to change within the Bundesliga – it is not known whether an interested party has already taken the bait. At FCA, the attacking winger was no longer in demand, has only made three substitutions since the beginning of November and has played a total of 281 league minutes this season.
In 2020, Caligiuri moved from FC Schalke to Augsburg on a free transfer. In the Bundesliga he also ran for VfL Wolfsburg and SC Freiburg.
