Paris Hilton floats in mom happiness. Her little son Phoenix was born in January with the help of a surrogate mother and is now the be-all and end-all of the 42-year-old and her husband Carter Reum (42).
What nobody knew until now: Paris was pregnant in her early 20s, but aborted her baby at the time.
The millionaire heiress revealed this for the first time in Interview with the magazine “Glamour”.
“I was a kid and I wasn’t ready for this,” she explained Paris Hilton her decision to have an abortion.
Hilton did not say who she was pregnant with at the time. Her abortion was always something “I didn’t want to talk about,” said the 42-year-old. “Because there was so much shame.”
But now that Paris Hilton is also publicly campaigning for women’s abortion rights, she wants to share her personal story; use their fame to draw attention to the issue.

“I think it’s important,” says Hilton. “It’s just all about politics, but it’s about a woman’s body… Why should there be a law based on that? It’s your body, your choice – I really believe in that.”
Paris, who has been through a lot in her life and is struggling with her new openness for a long time not feeling comfortable with her own sexuality, also against her image of the “dumb blonde”.
Because she is by no means that, says Hilton. “I’m just very good at pretending to be one. In reality I am someone who is strong and resilient, brave, smart and funny.”
