The route of the 46th Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris has been unveiled. It will leave the Champs-Elysées on April 2, indicates France Bleu Paris. This year 2023, the last kilometers will be in the capital to allow supporters to see the runners better.

The runners will start from the Champs-Elysées, will pass in front of the place de la Concorde, the Opéra Garnier, before returning to the rue de Rivoli, the Louvre museum and the Hôtel de Ville. Then head to the Opéra Bastille, before taking a walk in the Bois de Vincennes to return to the Opéra and head towards Notre-Dame, the Musée d’Orsay, the Grand Palais and of course the Eiffel Tower. The marathon runners will then head towards the Bois de Boulogne, the Auteuil racecourse, before attacking the last kilometers on a brand new route.

From the 38 km, the runners will leave the Bois de Boulogne to go to the 16th arrondissement of Paris. They will pass in particular by the avenue Paul Doumer and next to the gardens of the Trocadero. This new route allows us to be closer to the supporters. The arrival is scheduled for avenue Foch. In 2022, the Paris marathon brought together 45,000 runners.
