When it comes to dark humor and superheroes, nothing beats The Boys and Deadpool. At least that was true until last year when James Gunn unleashed the anti-hero Peacemaker (played by John Cena) in his own TV series. It proved to be a true challenger to both The Boys and Deadpool, mixing excessive violence with wild humor and a good script, resulting in a huge success with critics and viewers alike.
Unfortunately, it looks like we’ll have to wait until at least 2025 for a second season, but at least we have a spinoff called Waller to look forward to before then, in which the Peacemaker returns. But if you really need something to soothe your Peacemaker itch, Cryptozoic Entertainment now has something you’ll love.
They have launched an already almost fully funded Kickstarter campaign for one Dancing Peacemaker Bobble Figure which is based on John Cena’s dance moves in the intro to Norwegian band Wig Wam’s glam rock hit “Do ya wanna taste it?”. Three editions are available, a regular one, a high blood one only offered through Cryptozoic Entertainment, and a golden one that is completely Kickstarter exclusive.
