With the implementation of the reform at the end of the summer, many future retirees are wondering what their future pension will look like and when they will be able to leave. Naturally, they turn to pension funds, whose employees do not always have the answers.
At the end of the line from the Seine-Saint-Denis pension insurance fund, the concern and questions of a future retiree who wonders, when she stops working, what the amount of her pension will be. “We of course try to make them wait, to reassure them and to be able to support them in their request for retirement”explains Raoul Coahila, expert technician at the fund.
“Sometimes we don’t have the answer”
The taking into account of the arduousness, the long career device, the minimum retirement pension, in total, about thirty decrees must still be published for an application of the reform at the end of the summer. The center manager ensures that all employees are trained in these new rules as they arise, until “sometimes we have to tell people that we don’t have the answer (…) simply because the answer doesn’t exist.” Without answers, counselors also sometimes refer people to online simulators, but these too do not give all the answers.
