The Info-retraite.fr website is partially inaccessible on the evening of January 10. An influx of connections could be the cause of the bug.

On January 10, the government announced the long-awaited – and sometimes dreaded – pension reform. On the menu: raising the retirement age from 62 to 64 and a new minimum pension for retirees. But as Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne unveiled details of the plan, internet users flocked to the site Info-retraite.frwhich obviously encountered some technical problems.

As reported by Internet users on Twitter, the platform, which includes simulators in order to estimate the number of quarters already recorded for the calculation of its pension, has become inaccessible for some users. As Tech&Co notes, the simulator displayed a “502 error” page around 6 p.m., which could indicate server tensions.

The platform, which operated intermittently on the evening of January 10, is managed by Union Retraite, a public interest group (GIP). The latter brings together the 35 compulsory, basic and supplementary pension bodies.

To use it, all you have to do is connect to it via the FranceConnect tool, in order to view the progress of your career. You must then enter your date of birth to see the date of full retirement. A function which, obviously, does not yet take into account the pension reform, around which the debates have just begun.
