PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Alec Bohm homered and drove in six runs and the Philadelphia Phillies pummeled Sandy Alcantara, the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner, for a 15-3 victory over the Miami Marlins on Monday.

Brandon Marsh and Jake Cave added solo homers in a 20-hit night for the Phillies.

Alcantara (1-1) was coming off a shutout by covering the entire route in 1 hour, 57 minutes, but found a way to hold off Philadelphia.

Alcántara went 1-3 with a 3.16 ERA last season against the Phillies.

The National League champions have the measure taken. They scored five runs against Alcántara in the third inning and four more in the fifth, huge numbers considering the Dominican didn’t allow more than six runs in a game in 32 starts last season.

For the Marlins, Venezuelan Luis Arraéz 2-2. The Dominican Ulises De La Cruz 4-0. Cubans Yuli Gurriel 4-2, one scored and one towed; and Jorge Soler 3-0. The Dominican Jean Segura 3-0, one scored.

For the Phillies, the Dominican Christian Pache 1-1. Panamanian Edmundo Sosa 1-0.
