A spectacular accident occurred when a public transport truck from Monterrey, Nuevo León, skidded due to moisture in the asphalt, and after hitting a private car, it got into said unit.

The bus first knocked over a concrete post and then collided with the parked car, which was not carrying a crew member. However, due to the strong collision, it ended up overturned and with material damage.

The accident was in the Santa Bárbara Avenue, on Díaz Ordaz Boulevard, around 6:20 p.m. this Monday.

“The truck lost control here on the curve, I think because of the wet pavement and the speed,” one of the passengers who witnessed the accident told N+, while on his way to his workplace. About 25 people were on board public transport, according to the first reports.

The state emergency services and Civil Protection services were transferred to the scene, in order to provide medical attention to the passengers who were on board the bus. Local reports indicated that between 20 and 25 people were injured, although no fatalities have been reported so far.
