The conditions of the judicial review of Pierre Palmade have been modified: he was transferred this Tuesday to a new hospital structure in Bordeaux.

Pierre Palmade now far from Paris. The actor’s judicial control measures put in place as part of his indictment for homicide and involuntary injuries after his car accident on February 10 have been modified so that he can be transferred to the University Hospital Center (CHU) Pellegrin in Bordeaux, in a follow-up care and rehabilitation service.

He left this Tuesday the Paul-Brousse hospital in Villejuif, in the Val-de-Marne, where he was cared for following his accident and the stroke of which he then suffered, to be welcomed in the Bordeaux hospital center. The obligations and prohibitions accompanying his judicial control remain, including his house arrest in the hospital.

From Bordeaux

Pierre Palmade’s transfer could be linked to his link to Bordeaux as he spent part of his childhood there. The interest could thus be to bring him closer to some of his relatives, who could be involved in the actor’s care process, in particular those linked to his stroke at the end of February.

“In the management of the rehabilitation of neurological disorders, we often also work with the family environment so we try to avoid putting people at a distance from their loved ones”, explains Jean-Pierre Thierry, doctor specializing in public health. and health consultant for BFMTV.

There would a priori be no other reasons for this transfer. “There are follow-up and rehabilitation services specializing in neurological disorders” such as that of Bordeaux “throughout France” including in the Paris region, argues the doctor.

Right to leave on weekends

Pierre Palmade is still indicted in the accident he caused under the influence of drugs on February 10 and which left three seriously injured: a 38-year-old man, his 6-year-old son and his sister-in-law. 27, who lost the baby she was expecting after the collision.

The judicial review to which he has been subject since March 10 is maintained. Until May 6, the actor is prohibited from leaving the Bordeaux University Hospital, but from this date he will remain hospitalized at the University Hospital but may leave the hospital on weekends, subject to a positive medical opinion.

He is also prohibited from going to Seine-et-Marne, from leaving French territory or from driving a vehicle. His trial will be held in the coming months.
