A singer Mimicat, who on Saturday represented Portugal in the final of the 67th edition of the Eurovision Song Contest with ‘Ai Coração’, reacted to the result she obtained – the 23rd position in a total of 26 countries – and underlined that the places “little ” are “interested”.

“It was incredible, honestly. I cried for 15 minutes after I performed because I was in such a brutal rush of adrenaline, emotion and gratitude. It was a wonderful opportunity, it was the opportunity of my career, I showed my music to millions of people at the same time – something I never thought was possible”he began by mentioning in a video published on the social networks of the Festival da Canção, early this Sunday.

The Portuguese singer made a point of “thanking this experience, which has zero negatives”. “There are no negative things here. Places don’t really interest me, honestly. They didn’t interest me much and much less now”he underlined.

Mimicat claimed to have achieved their “goal” of progressing to the final, which was “a magical moment”.

“There was a very very great connection with our country and that I will never forget. The way in which the Portuguese thanked our effort and the way in which the Portuguese appreciated our effort… Thank you all”, she concluded.

It should be noted that Sweden again won the Eurovision Song Contest with Loreen. After, in 2012, having won with the theme ‘Euphoria’, the Swedish singer represented her country in this year’s edition with ‘Tattoo’.
