Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet will soon be entitled to a new update which already promises great things.

If Pokemon Eclarte & Violet are real hits, the 9G duo still cooled a lot of players and made many more rage (or laugh). Despite its great qualities, this latest generation of Pokemon on Nintendo Switch also has huge technical problems, whether bugs or graphics, clearly below the console’s capabilities. But Nintendo is obviously aware of this and intends to try to solve the problem.

Pokemon will update soon!

In a recent statement, the firm said that Pokemon Scarlet and Purple were going to receive a major update aimed at “fixing several bugs” while bringing “many new features”. This patch 1.2 is currently expected for the end of February, but does not yet have a precise release date.
Likewise, Nintendo has been very elusive about new upcoming features and preferred to keep it a secret, so we’ll have to settle for the announcement for now. However, the company assured that it would give more information a little later, certainly at the same time as the patch notes which should arrive within a few weeks at most.

This update will follow the big patch 1.1 already deployed in December. The latter already corrected a lot of things and also launched the first season of the competitive multiplayer mode with ranking. The game also receives regular small updates to add new raids and events. Moreover, many rumors suggest that a DLC will arrive soon.

Note in passing, the software Pokemon HOME will also receive a new update to improve its user experience, but its compatibility with the latest games of the license will not arrive until later in the spring.
