WASHINGTON.- El cardenal Christophe Pierreapostolic nuncio to the United States, reported this Wednesday that the Pope Francisco accepted the resignation of Arzobispo Leonard P. Blair and appointed the Archbishop Christopher J. Coyne as his successor in Archdiocese of Hartford.
Archbishop Leonard Blair, recognized for his dedication and pastoral leadership, served the Hartford Catholic community for years, leaving an indelible mark on the region. His resignation, although expected due to his advanced age, was received with mixed feelings by the faithful, who recognized his hard work and commitment to the faith.
Archbishop Coyne, who until now served as Coadjutor Archbishop of the same diocese, is known for his charisma and dedication to pastoral ministry.
