MIAMI.- The lottery prize pool Powerball rose again after no one matched the winning ticket in Monday’s drawing.
Without a Powerball grand prize winner in the December 11 drawing, the jackpot managed to accumulate for Wednesday’s drawing $500 million dollarsa not inconsiderable amount for people who play the lottery.
Powerball results for December 11:
The Powerball numbers drawn for this round were: 1, 24, 27, 31, 62 with 20 as the red Powerball number, and a 3x Power Play multiplier.
How to play Powerball?
After purchasing your ticket, you must select five numbers between 1 and 69 for the white balls and then select a number between 1 and 26 for the red Powerball.
The Powerball jackpot grows until someone wins the prize. Players win a prize by matching one of the 9 ways to win. The jackpot is won by matching the five white balls in any order and the red Powerball.
