The Government will launch Pre-Travel 4, the benefits program that promotes domestic tourism, and many are already organizing getaways and vacations to take advantage of it. The new edition will include several holidays.

This is a tourist pre-sale program that refunds part of the travel expenses to be used in travel agencies, accommodation, air and land tickets and/or other services in the sector. The money will be deposited on a Banco Nación card and can be spent at participating businesses from the start date of the trip.

The “advance purchase period” will open shortly to use it during the low season months of the first half of 2023, specifically to months of May and June.

However, you can take advantage of some holidays to make some getaways with the benefit of the plan that reimburses 50% of what is spent on tourism in advance.

These include the “extra long” weekends of May 25-28 and June 17-20.

How does the Pre-Trip work?

Promoted by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, PreViaje is a program of tourist presale that reimburses part of the value of any trip within the country in the form of credit.

The return limit for each user will be between $90,000 and $100,000

For each advance purchase of national tourist services in travel agencies, accommodation expenses, air and land tickets and other tourist services to providers registered in the program to travel through Argentina, a refund of 50% of these purchases is made to spend it in all the “tourist chain” of Argentina. This benefit amounts to 70% for PAMI retirees.

The return limit for each user will be between $90,000 and $100,000, a credit that can be used throughout 2023, that is, until December 31 inclusive.

Includes: tickets, lodging, tour packages, restaurants, bars, breweries, local products, chocolatiers, handicrafts and excursions, among others, but not supermarkets or service stations.

The Ministry of Tourism is expected to announce the details of the new edition of the program in the coming days.
