Prefecture seized almost 17 kilos of marijuana on the banks of the Paraná

Argentine Naval Prefecture Puerto Maní Prefecture seized almost 17 kilos of marijuana in two procedures carried out in Misiones, within the framework of the continuous patrols carried out in the border area.

At dawn today during the prevention task carried out in San Ignacio, the National Maritime Authority located at kilometer 1629 of the Paraná River two hidden packages with marijuana breads. In the case of almost 14 kilos of drugs, which were seized by indications of the Oberá Federal Prosecutor’s Office.

Then, in Colonia Oasis belonging to Jardín América, prefectural troops detected a backpack with almost three kilograms of marijuana flower at kilometer 1697 of the Paraná River and the same Prosecutor’s Office mentioned above intervened.

The calculation of both procedures carried out both in San Ignacio and in Jardín América and discovered on the banks of the Paraná, is valued at more than three million pesos.
