Chihuahua, Chih.- Guadalupe Guerrero is a freelance writer, who has extensive experience, is a native of Chihuahua, is a poet, novelist and narrator who has taught literary workshops, as well as being a researcher on issues of equity and historical perspective. Currently, she is promoting her most recent literary work entitled ‘Invervida’, which she presented during the year 2022 at the Tarike Museum.

In an interview for El Diario, the writer Guadalupe narrated how this literary project came about.

“This project was a way to address a situation of oppression that, as a Chihuahuan woman, I discovered through writing. So many aberrational things happen in our city that poetry, through the different manifestations of the poem, can be a sedative for a reading vein that requires the truth on all sides.

“I planned this collection of poems as if it were a serum, ‘Intervida’ is like a serum that they put into your vein to calm you down and continue, this work focuses a lot on the environment we live in and the image we have daily and wants to be like a transfusion of life for the reader, telling him if all this is happening, but the universe exists and the great challenges”, he indicated.

She shared that through her book, she seeks to tell readers that there is another way of life and that they can find it through reading. She also commented that she is very pleased to know that there is great literary talent in her homeland.

“Reading is very important, I was really impressed by the number of young female writers that exist, this during the book fair. I love this land that is Chihuahua, it is of incomparable beauty, which has been the inspiration of great painters and poets”, she expressed.
