During his time at the elite Eton school, Harry thought about his professional future. At first he thought of working in a ski resort in Lech am Arlberg “where Mummy used to take us”. He would have had such fond memories of spending time in the place with his mother, Princess Diana, who passed away in 1997.
“More specifically, I wanted to work at the fondue shack in town center that Mummy loved. That fondue could change your life,” Harry wrote on page 105 of the German edition of his book. In parentheses he added his assessment of his plans today: “I was really that crazy.” After that, I wanted to become a ski instructor there.
