Mexico City.- The fourth Bad Boys film with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence is in pre-production with Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah returning as directors.

This as-yet-untitled sequel was confirmed by Sony Pictures, will be scripted by Chris Bremner and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Smith for Westbrook, Doug Belgrad and Chad Oman.

The news of their return as a peculiar police couple was announced by Will Smith and Martin Lawrence on their social networks, both posted a video on Instagram where Smith is seen arriving at Lawrence’s house to celebrate the news.

In total, the Bad Boys franchise has grossed $840 million at the worldwide box office since its premiere in 1995. The fourth installment will have Martin Lawrence, James Lassiter, Mike Stenson, Barry Waldman and Jon Mone serving as executive producers.
