The PS Plus service, like its competitor the Xbox Game Pass, regularly cleans up their game catalogs. But there, Sony has not been dead hand, it is nearly 40 games that are removed from the various catalogs of its online service.
Currently, on PS5, it is possible to get your hands on more than a hundred games using PlayStation services. PS Plus subscriptions allow you to have access to several different game catalogs depending on the formula chosen (Essential, Extra, Premium, etc.). Before that, it was also possible to play several big PlayStation hits with the PS Plus Collection. A selection of games made available to everyone at no additional cost. But that’s over.
Hecatomb, more than 30 PS5 and PS4 games are leaving the PS Plus catalogs
Players now only have the PS Plus catalogs, already well loaded, to enjoy a ton of diverse and varied games. Moreover, each month, several of them arrive in the catalog. However, many others are leaving the service. Usually, there are a maximum of ten from definitively. But for this month of May 2023, Sony got a little upset. The PlayStation Plus Extra & Premium catalogs will indeed lose 35 PS5 & PS4 games from May 15. So you only have a few days left to take advantage of headlines like the Batman Arkhamthe series of MetroMarvel’s Spider-Man or Shenmue 3 to name but a few.
To be forgiven, however, Sony has revised its new products upwards. Le moi de mais therefore promises to be generous in terms of new entries with very, very big games like Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart or the whole saga. Tomb Raider I rebooted in 2013.
