Game News PS5: this ultra-popular VR game is confirmed on PlayStation VR 2!
Certainly, the PlayStation VR2 was a key element of Sony’s conference at CES 2023. The headset notably confirmed the arrival of a well-known virtual reality hit, which is indeed excellent news.

Among the many existing virtual reality games, Beat Saber is undoubtedly one of its figureheads : you have necessarily seen it on the internet or perhaps even have already tried the experience, which has already been released on the first PlayStation VR in 2018, but also on other competing headsets thereafter.
The concept is simple: with a VR helmet screwed on the head, it’s about taking virtual sabers and hitting the corresponding boxes, scrolling at full speed… while respecting the rhythm of the music. Because yes, it is both a game of rhythm and skill for a really explosive result, flirting with a cyberpunk artistic direction: it is clearly one of the biggest successes of this technology.

It is therefore at CES 2022 in Las Vegas that Sony has confirmed the development of Beat Saber on PlayStation VR2, its next headset exclusive to the PS5. On the other hand, theThis title will not be part of the launch line-up (which will include more than thirty apps) and does not yet have a specific release date.
We imagine that the developers at Beat Games are working on an updated version, taking advantage in particular of the features of PSVR2 such as haptic feedback integrated into the controllers or directly into the headset.
In another register, the Sony conference has confirmed the arrival of the new game for the PSVR 2, and not least since it is a very big exclusive which will be fully compatible with the accessory. Remember that the latter will be released on February 23, 2023 for a price of 599.99 euros.
