Another great day for the Boricuas in San Salvador 2023!
The sailing team won a loot of medals: five medals in different categories. The couple Francisco Figueroa and Faith Payne won gold at the Hobie 16 held at the Apulo Recreational Park. Meanwhile, Enrique Quique Figueroa and Adriana De Cárdenas won silver.
Likewise, Raúl Ríos and Andrea Riefkohl also won gold in Snipe, the same category in which Ramón González and Virginia Carrero got the silver medal.
In Sunfish, Marco Teixidor took bronze.
In addition, wrestler Sebastián Rivera won a silver medal in the 65kg. Like Jonovan Smith, who brought a silver medal in wrestling at 125kg. Meanwhile, Franklin Gómez won bronze in the 74kg freestyle. Jacob Moran, in the 57kg freestyle also got bronze.
In the men’s 3×3, the Puerto Ricans advanced after defeating the Trinidad and Tobago team 21-9.
