Two pilots and four flight attendants of a commercial passenger jet complained of headaches tonight after arriving at Los Angeles International Airport.
The six crew members were on a walkway when firefighters arrived at 6:57 p.m. at Terminal 2, complaining of headaches after noticing an odor they believed might have been airplane exhaust, Brian Humphrey said. of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“The smell had dissipated with the arrival of the ground crew from the airline and the LAFD,” Humphrey said. “LAFD response personnel closely examined the cockpit and cockpit of the aircraft with specialized instruments and found no environmental hazards.”
The fire team members were taken to hospitals for further observation and one refused to be transported, he said.
