Rain frustrated Sheinbaum assembly in San Pablo Autopan, Toluca (Video)

TOLUCA, Edomex (proceso.com.mx).- The rain frustrated again an informative meeting of the presidential candidate of Morena, Claudia Sheinbaum, now in the town of San Pablo Autopan, Toluca, State of Mexico; where she barely spoke for six minutes and ended due to the risk that the canvases would burst due to the weight of the water and it would fall on the attendees.

The assembly was scheduled at 6:00 p.m., but just at that moment it began to rain very hard until it hailed. Minutes later, when the intensity dropped, dozens of people fled before the morenista arrived.

Among those who began to leave first were people who wore T-shirts from the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico, many of them, some older adults.

Around 6:30 p.m. and due to the traffic chaos caused by the dozens of trucks in which those attending the event were taken, Sheinbaum Pardo got out of her car and walked through the rain to the vacant lot where there were already hundreds of folded chairs on the floor and giant tarpaulins from which jets of water dripped.

The morenista apologized for the delay and said she was happy because she is “up in the polls.” She recalled that in the State of Mexico the inhabitants “made history together with the teacher Delfina Gómez.”

He added that after that triumph and with what is to come in 2024, the continuation of the Fourth Transformation “is already irreversible and conservatism can never triumph.”

The rain was beginning to get worse again, so Sheinbaum hurried the message with a warning:

For safety reasons, we are going to retire because the tarpaulins could fall, but, since we are going to win the survey, we are going to return to Toluca to have a great event”.
