And apparently the sports director of RB Leipzig already has an idea which foal he would like to bring into his new shower stable. According to ‘Sport Bild’, Manu Koné is on Eberl’s list for the summer. He signed the 21-year-old midfielder himself for Borussia Mönchengladbach two years ago.
Perfect Laimer successor?
Koné is developing strongly there. The Frenchman has started all of his 15 games this season and shines, among other things, with his enormous dynamism and strengths in winning the ball. These also make him a suitable successor to Konrad Laimer (25), who is about to move to FC Bayern free of charge in the summer.
