In autumn, it became clear that Liva Ingebrigtsen is among this year’s celebrity participants in Kompani Lauritzen.

She first became known through her alias “Running Lady”where she blogged about what it was like to live with running star Henrik Ingebrigtsen (31).

TV 2 met the Rogalander the day before she was to enter the Setnesmoen military camp. The date is August 23, 2022.

She was to sleep one night in Ålesund with the rest of the cast, before the actual reality adventure began.

Her nerves were on edge, but she still managed to keep a cool head. She had received a tip from her father-in-law – athletics coach Gjert Ingebrigtsen (57).

– I know what I not going to do

If the cheerful brunette is to be believed, the tip was related to how to avoid conflicts.

– You have seen Henrik in the training regime that Gjert has followed. Are there any tips you have received that you think could be an advantage for you here?

– I am very quick to talk back. I have experienced that both with Henrik and with my father-in-law. So the experience around that is that I will do the opposite. I know what I not going to do. Then we’ll see if I can get it done in another way.

Those most interested in sports may remember that last August was a turbulent time for the Ingebrigtsen family. TV 2 met Liva Ingebrigtsen only days after the EC in Munich was over.

This was the first European championship where Gjert Ingebrigtsen did not have coaching responsibility for his own sons. During this championship, Liva Ingebrigtsen’s husband, Henrik Ingebrigtsen, was given this responsibility.

There is one thing in particular that can cause problems for Liva inside the military camp. See what in the video below.

Single dad

Although the husband had recently returned home after the EC, he was ready to be a “single father”.

– I think that will go very well. I think he might benefit a little from us switching roles a bit. That he gets to try a little at home, and I get to test just being me. I’m very used to being in charge at home, so I know that it will be tough at times to be away for so long, but then I think the pace will be so high that you won’t have time to know so much about it.

She says that her partner has been good at giving both supportive words – and unsolicited guidance.

– He must have prepared me a little. I don’t think he’s nervous. I think he has faith in me, but he likes to be prepared himself, so then he wants me to be too.

– Try to control me

The fact that she has ended up in one of Norway’s most famous sports families is perhaps no coincidence.

– I have a very strong competitive instinct. Me and Henrik can’t play board games together. Last time I knocked the board off the table. I almost have to try to control myself a little, so as not to be too crazy. It is going to be hard. But it’s fun to win! You want to win – no one wants to lose, she says with a laugh.

The influencer was never in doubt as to whether she should accept the reality show offer.

– It’s an experience that you don’t get otherwise. For me, I think there is no scenario where I would have refused. Then I think I would have missed out on such a great experience. It was a matter of course that I wanted to join, when they asked.

Although she was quick to say yes, she admits that another family member probably got a little jealous.

– Henrik thinks it’s great that I’m going to join. I think he might consider joining himself, but I think he would have been hard to beat. I am happy that I will be allowed to try myself.

Kompani Lauritzen premieres on TV 2 Direkte and TV 2 Play Saturday 25 February.
