At launch, Redfall will only offer a graphics mode on Xbox consoles.
This is the quality mode, showing the game at its prettiest. But it doesn’t stop there.
More performance comes later.
“For an optimal gaming experience, Redfall on Xbox will initially only run at a maximum of 30 fps (…) at the time of publication,” said Bethesda in the afternoon.
The game runs in 4K resolution on the Xbox Series X and 1440p on the Xbox Series S.

A performance mode is to be added later: “We will add the option of playing at 60 fps in an upcoming update,” it says.
When this update can be expected remains unclear for the time being.

Redfall will be released on May 2, 2023 for PC and Xbox Series X/S, and will also be available in Xbox Game Pass at launch.
