“This year I will be 77 years old and Jorge 75,” López Puccio said in statements included in the press release. “We feel very vital, and artistically we believe we are at our best moment; but as we approach 80 our muscles and They anticipate that they will soon begin to present obstacles to us”.

For her part, Maronna added: “It will not be easy to conclude this wonderful work that we have enjoyed since we were very young, nor to say goodbye to the public that follows and supports us, but Mastropiero deserves to rest after so many years of adventures.”

The premiere of the last show will take place at the Opera Theater next Thursday, January 12, and it will be presented there every weekend during the summer season. The tour will continue throughout this year through different Argentine cities as well as touring venues in Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Uruguay and Spain.

The work will be performed by the 2019 version of the cast of Les Luthiers, made up of Roberto Antier, Tomás Mayer-Wolf, Martín O’Connor and Horacio Tato Turano, with Santiago Otero Ramos and Pablo Rabinovich acting as alternates.

In the networks they are fired with admiration and sadness:
