The interview was held on the occasion of the publication of Prince Harry’s new book, “SPARE”, which will be released on Tuesday 10 January.
Prince Harry criticized the British press for how they have treated his wife Meghan Markle. He also notes how other monarchies have come forward to condemn such behavior in their own country.
Prince Harry praises our Norwegian King Harald after showing support for daughter Märtha Louise’s much talked about relationship with Durek Verrett.
The relationship has received enormous criticism, and King Harald has asked that “the conscious and unconscious racism be stopped”.
– I congratulate them enormously on that. And I don’t think they’ve gotten enough credit for what they’ve done, but it’s huge. And more of that is needed, says Prince Harry about the Norwegian royal family.
They lead by example in the fight against racism, Prince Harry said during the interview.
The Duke of Sussex also paid tribute to the Dutch king, Willem-Alexander.
It was Strahan, who noted that the King of the Netherlands has “acknowledged and deplored the role that slavery and colonialism played in shaping the country”. Who have also taken steps to ensure that citizens do not feel discriminated against in their own country.
Prince Harry also pointed out that the British monarchy should be more “modernised”. Where he also reflected on his own country’s relationship with racism.
