Samsung on Monday updated several product lines, including Galaxy Book notebooks, All-in-Ones (AiO) and desktops. All models gained the most modern Intel Core processors, among other changes.

Galaxy Book 3 line gained base representative

After the Galaxy Book 3 line was already presented at the beginning of the year with the Pro and Ultra options, now Samsung has made the base model official. It represents an option for those who want to spend less compared to the more advanced machines, but still guarantee a reasonable set of specifications.

In addition to the 13th generation Intel Core processors, the performance set has an Intel Arc A350M graphics card — as it is the cheapest option in the series, there is no option with an Nvidia RTX GPU.

Its metal construction has a traditional hinge, rather than the 360 version which offers a full notebook swivel. The thickness of the product is 15.4 mm, while its weight is 1.57 kg.

The Galaxy Book 3 will be sold in two color options: graphite and silver.

AiO and desktops were also released

The company also took the opportunity to present its new All-in-one (AiO) computer, which gained a new rear access door for upgrades. With it, users can increase memory and make other hardware improvements if they want.

In the front section, the product has a 24-inch screen, whose edges have been reduced to optimize front use. It still features internal speakers with support for Dolby Atmos 3D, and its physical inputs have been rearranged to increase usability.

Samsung’s new desktops come in two size options: normal and slim. The products are aimed at users who want a little more performance, through Nvidia graphics cards instead of Intel options.

In addition, computers also represent greater ease of updating components. They will come with ample configuration possibilities, with very variable prices.

The larger tower will be sold in black only, while the more compact option will arrive in black or white.

Prices and availability

All products have been introduced to the South Korean market, but may reach more countries over the next few weeks. The official prices for each item are listed below:

  • Galaxy Book 3: 1.09 million won (about R$4,057 in direct conversion)
  • Samsung All-in-One: 1,21 milhão de won (~R$ 4.504)
