The Torino forward hasn’t scored since 1 October against Napoli: even friendlies still saw him blocked

Sanabria, a fast of almost three months
87 days later, the situation hasn’t changed, thanks to a forced stop due to some physical problems that kept him away from the field. The return did not take long, but it allowed him to play the last official match of 2023 against Roma and the friendlies scheduled by the coach so as not to let the rhythms drop: even against Espanyol, Almeria and Cremonese, however, the number 9 did not find the way to goal, prolonging his abstinence.

Juric, running out of alternatives also considering the physical problems that persecute Pellegri, has chosen not to take away his trust, on the contrary. In fact, he left him on the field for 204 minutes in test matches, without however being fully repaid, as well as the team. Raising the bar and going back to doing what a striker should be able to do better, let’s talk about the goal of course, he has therefore rightfully entered Sanabria’s list of good resolutions, not only for the new year: starting tomorrow against Monza (team to which he scored one of the only two goals of this championship) his goal is to unlock.
