Accustomed to expressing himself on different topics, now Santiago Maratea gave his opinion on one of the most resonant facts of today.

Through his social networks, Maratea referred to the start of the trial for the crime of Fernando Báez Sosa and made public his repudiation of the eight rugby players accused of killing the 18-year-old at the exit of a bowling alley in Villa Gesell.

He did it by sharing a publication that went viral in recent days, as a review of the facts.

“They insulted him. They called him black. They invited him to fight. They surrounded him. They hit him among 5. They filmed him. They celebrated. They hugged. They escaped”, begins the post, accompanied by photographs of the eight defendants.

And he continues: “They divided. His blood was washed away. They changed clothes. They took a selfie. They smiled. They ate hamburgers. They accused an innocent man.”

Given this, Maratea added a lapidary phrase: “Shitty assholes, I hope everyone has a life sentence.”

Santi Maratea unloaded his anger on the rugbiers: "Shitty assholes..."

Maratea’s message was addressed to the eight young men charged in the case: Máximo Thomsen, Enzo Comelli, Matías Benicelli, Blas Cinalli, Ayrton Viollaz, and Luciano, Ciro and Lucas Pertossi, who this Tuesday heard the testimony of new witnesses in a new trial day.
