During the meeting, Foreign Minister Cafiero stressed the “broad bond that characterizes the bilateral relationship and the frank and permanent dialogue between the two governments on various issues such as the consolidation of democracy, the promotion and defense of human rights, the protection health, climate change, the use of nuclear energy for peaceful purposes, and the fight against terrorism and drug trafficking, among others”.

He also stressed that “the United States is a fundamental partner for our country in terms of investment and trade.
