Colombian airline satin confirmed the opening of a new air route between Colombia and Venezuela. It’s about the route Barranquilla and Caracaswhich will start from May 8.

According to the airline, the flights will be made in an aircraft Embraer ERJ145with capacity for 50 passengers. They will be direct and will have affordable rates of USD230 (one million pesos) which include, without additional costs, a hand luggage of up to 5 kilograms and a hold of up to 15 kilograms.

The departure itinerary from Barranquilla will be at 9:00 am.., while from Caracas it will be at 12:30 pm

In addition to the announcement of the new Barranquilla-Caracas route, Satena announced that as of next sunday may 7 will inaugurate a new frequency between Bogota and Caracas.

According to the airline, the new route between Bogotá and Caracas will only take off on Sundays, being operated from El Dorado International Airport from the Colombian capital. The rates and itineraries, according to the company, will be as follows:

– Bogota–Caracas: It will take off from 10:10 in the morning. The price of the tickets will be from US$264 each way.

– Caracas–Bogotá: it will take off from 2:45 in the afternoon. The price of the tickets will be from US$246 each way.

Satena took the opportunity to remind its passengers that each of the rates they offer includes one baggage per hold of up to 15kg and one of 5kg by hand, without additional costs.
