These Italian nationals, aged between 20 and 30, were Thursday at Pointe de la Golette, 3,100 meters away, on the Franco-Italian border, according to France Bleu Pays de Savoie.

In Savoie, four Italians were swept away in an avalanche in Savoie, in Haute-Tarentaise, reports Thursday, April 13, in the evening, France Blue Country of Savoy. According to a provisional report, there is one survivor. The three other Italian skiers are missing.

The avalanche took place at Pointe de la Golette (3,100 meters), a peak located on the Franco-Italian border. One of the skiers managed to give the alert by triggering an emergency beacon, then descended on his own via the Italian side before being recovered by the rescuers.

Thursday, at 7.30 p.m., three skiers are missing, Italian nationals aged between 20 and 30 years old. French rescuers from the CRS Alpes attempted a helicopter approach but had to give up due to unfavorable weather. The search should continue on Thursday evening, on the Italian side.
