– The ongoing electrification of Sweden is a national matter, and then a proper expansion of wind power is required, says Mikael Källgren who is SCA’s business area manager for renewable energy.
– The municipalities should be compensated for “taking one for the team”, he thinks.
He is skeptical of the government’s demand that it is the wind power companies that should be responsible for the compensation to the local community and not the taxpayers.
– Additional burdens on those who invest in wind power and contribute to the green transition, it will fail, he believes.
