A 37-year-old man identified as Cristian Walter Gamarra was found lifeless lying on Provincial Route 7 on Saturday morning, near the asphalt plant in the town of Jardín América.

According to the first investigations, he would have died after being hit by a vehicle that moments later fled.

According to the police doctor’s diagnosis, Gamarra died as a result of multiple head injuries and traumatic cardiorespiratory arrest, also observing signs of dragging in the chest area.

The local agents were looking for the perpetrator until last night, since they kidnapped fragments of the vehicle found at the scene of the accident, which will be examined together with the clothing of the deceased, by the Scientific Police.

Likewise, the survey of the security cameras of said plant is carried out.

The Investigating Court Two of Jardín América ordered the delivery of the body to the next of kin.

On the other hand, a motorcyclist died on Saturday after colliding with a pickup in Colonia Paraíso, obtained sources from the Misiones Police.

The incident occurred in the afternoon on Provincial Route 2 and the victim was identified as Rubén Viera, who died on the spot.

According to the police report, around 3:00 p.m., the driver of a Fiat Strada was traveling in the direction of El Soberbio-Saltos del Moconá, and for reasons that are being investigated, he collided head-on with a 125-inch motorcycle that had been driving the opposite way, driven by Viera.

As a result of the impact, the occupant of the smaller vehicle fell to the asphalt tape, ceasing to exist at the moment.

The Scientific Police and the El Soberbio Police Station worked at the scene.
