The plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN) declared the invalidity of a package of articles of the National Guard Law that establish the secondment of the National Guard (GN) to Secretary of National Defense (Sedena).
Of the eleven ministers that make up the country’s highest constitutional court, only Arturo Zaldivar, yasmin esquivel and loretta ortizvoted against the draft sentence prepared under the presentation of Juan Luis Gonzalez Alcantara and that he proposed to conclude that the reform challenged by the parliamentary minority of the Chamber of Senators is unconstitutional.
