Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2 welcomed their Season 2 yesterday with many new features such as Resurgence, the return of the Gulag 1v1 as well as new maps. While these additions seem to delight players, the studio is already teasing the content planned for Season 3.

New map, return of Gunfight…

published yesterday that Infinity Ward has confirmed the first additions expected during Season 3. We first learn that the GunFight mode will be back. Introduced at the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare in 2019, it notably offers very intense 1v1 clashes on small maps. It will be back in Season 3, and new maps will be added with each new season.

Warzone 2 will see the return of the mode Looting (Plunder), which asks players to collect as much cash as possible, with unlimited respawn. Ranked will also be introduced in Warzone 2 next season.

Regarding the launch date of Season 3, everything suggests that it will be available on April 12, but we will obviously have to wait for confirmation from Activision to be sure.

Season 2 Reloaded is coming!

In addition to the content planned during Season 3, the studio has also confirmed the additions expected for the middle of Season 2. Reloadedthe mid-season update will introduce a new limited-time event, an all-new RAID as well as new multiplayer modes.

Players will also be able to experience an all-new 6v6 map for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II. It takes place in the mountains and the studio says it will be released sooner than expected. The tests are conclusive and the teams are ahead of schedule.
