MIAMI.- Almost a year after starting a new life with his children far from Barcelona, Shakira has immersed itself in a different stage in which it faces new challenges. However, her desire to keep the children protected seems to become a problem that has upset members of her environment.
According to El Nacional de Catalua, the Colombian has given strict orders to the security personnel to take care of the image by Milan and Sasha. This has resulted in the children not appearing in photographs or videos that the parents of their new friends at Miami Country Day School take during school activities or outside the educational center.
Shakira’s demands
The source of the Spanish media asserts that the Barranquilla staff forces parents to eliminate from their equipment material where the children are, either in extracurricular practices or on birthdays and outings.
“The strict control that Shakira and her security team exercise over Milan and Sasha has led to their social interactions at school not evolving as expected,” the publication reads.
Likewise, it is rumored that the representatives are beginning to feel uncomfortable with the constant presence of bodyguards around the school.
The portal also highlighted that the performer allegedly maintains a diva attitude that is not well received by the Miami Country Day School community, a behavior that she apparently also maintained when they lived in Barcelona and her children attended the American School of Barcelona.
“She is described as distant and not very accessible. (…) She does not stop to greet anyone, marking a clear distance from other parents, teachers and even her children’s own classmates.”
Current relationship with Piqu
Recently, the same media alleged that the Colombian and the former soccer player have resumed communication in a friendly and respectful manner.
“In recent months, there has been a rapprochement between Shakira and Piqu, not with the intention of rekindling the romance, but to establish a healthy relationship for the benefit of Milan and Sasha. “The ex-couple has chosen to dispense with legal intermediaries, communicating directly on matters related to the children,” the publication reads.
The local press has also reported that Shakira would be being flexible with the meetings that her children have with their father and in which Clara Cha may possibly be present.
