Blackpink is one of the artists announced for the first edition of the Yellow Pieces Gala, a concert 0 in support of the annual operation of the same name, on January 28 at the Zenith in Paris.

As noted by fans on Twitter, the quartet are supposed to perform in Abu Dhabi that night as part of his world tour. It is therefore possible that the performance of Jisoo, Rosé, Jennie and Lisa is pre-recorded. On the French pop side, Pascal Obispo and Vianney will also participate in the concert.

34 years of yellow coins

Finally, this eclectic program is completed by classical music with cellist Gautier Capuçon, pianist Khatia Buniatishvili and young Swedish violinist Daniel Lozakovich. All will be “accompanied by a symphony orchestra created especially for the occasion”, as specified in the press release, which announces “unexpected collaborations”.

Launched in 1989, the Yellow Pieces operation aims to raise money for the benefit of the Hospital Foundation, in order to improve the conditions of hospitalized children and adolescents. Everyone is called upon to make donations, either by accumulating yellow coins in the famous cardboard piggy bank (abandoned last year, it is making a comeback this year) or through various online means. The 2023 vintage starts this Wednesday and will end on February 4.
