In the last few hours, the detention in Berisso of a man of 34 years who was criminally denounced for having raped a 16-year-old teenager in a wasteland after having assaulted her. The complaint was made by the victim’s grandmother and thanks to this the police were able to find the accused.
According to police sources 0221.com.ar, the complainant explained that the teenager was intercepted around 00:15 on Sunday at the corner of her house, where her Samsung cell phone was stolen. After her robbery, she took advantage of her loneliness and, despite her resistance, moved her a few blocks before Mount 178 between 31 and 32 to sexually abuse her.
Minutes later, once the complaint was made, the police arrived at the scene and met the victim, who tried to fully recount the episode she had just experienced and also describe the abuser so they can identify him. Finally, he was found and detained at an address located in 34 between 165 and 166.
Based on what the police expressed in the official document, the adolescent presented genital and bodily injuries that were attributed to sexual assault. The case is being investigated by the Functional Unit for Investigation and Trial No. 05, in charge of Dr. Juan Mennucci. The victim’s mother filed criminal proceedings and the intervention of Gender Policies has been authorized in the case.
