As recently as last week, there was no denying that at least the upper regions the Steam sales charts firmly in Shooter’s hand. In the first four places were only first person shooter to find. At the beginning of the new week, the question arises as to whether anything has changed or whether we are in the current top 10 offers the same picture.
The current number 1 on Steam
Even a cursory glance at Steam’s top 10 clearly shows that the multiplayer shooter Counter-Strike: Global Offensive continues to rise the throne of the sales charts can be found. However, there is a “new” pursuer: The handheld PC Steam Deck has been able to fight its way up to second place since last week and thus the previous shooter dominance at least partially break.
We can also welcome the action game Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in the top 10. After its successful launch last week, it has at least for a jump to fifth place passed and thus in the upper half. With the open-world role-playing game Wartales Another newcomer has made it into the upper regions of the Steam sales charts, while titles like Total War: Warhammer 3 had to say goodbye. How the Steam sales charts are made
So far, it has not been decisive for the calculation of the current top 10 of the Steam sales charts the sheer number of copies sold of the respective games, but always the turnover achieved of the software or hardware sold. So, especially expensive products had an “advantage”. Meanwhile, however also Free2Play games taken into account in the calculation. The sales charts listed above refer to the period from April 24th to 30th, 2023. The charts presented by us are published weekly in one XML feed on Steam issued.
