A shooting in the Crosby-Lynchburg area has left one dead and at least four injured, according to authorities.

On Sunday afternoon, Harris County Sheriff’s Office officials responded to an incident in Reuben White.

According to police reports, the shooting occurred in the 12000 block of Crosby-Lynchburg, where four to five people sustained gunshot wounds.

Two injured people were left at the scene on Barrett Road and two others were taken by private vehicle to a hospital, authorities said.

“One person has died in the 100 block of Reuben White and CSI and investigators are heading to various locations.” Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

At this time, authorities said a public information officer was heading to the scene of the shooting, and Sheriff Ed Gonzalez tweeted that he was heading to the town of Crosby-Lynchburg.
