There will be singing, dancing and laughing again. “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” starts the last round. What fans can rely on: Not only Dieter Bohlen (68) causes a stir with his sayings, but also polarizes the new candidates.
One of the candidates is Marco Büscher (26) or as he calls himself: “Lifeguard Büschy”. The Glandorfer (Lower Saxony) and lifeguard always wanted to go to DSDS. “The question was never if, but when,” Marco told BILD.
Marco tried to convince the jury with the song “Lotosblume” by the Flippers. “It actually happens at every village festival and I thought it wouldn’t be that difficult,” he says about his choice of songs. Dieter Bohlen likes hits.
Marco brings an extra bonus: “Lifeguard Büschy” has the same taste in clothes as the pop titan! Büschy’s closet is full of “Camp David” clothes. Of course, he also wears a T-shirt with the large print of the fashion label to the casting. Does it bring him luck?

His friends weren’t overly enthusiastic about Marco’s participation: “My friends were like, ‘Do you have a smack?'” he admits.
Brother Jago (21) also moaned. Marco: “He’s my biggest critic, he’s always ruthlessly honest and said after my DSDS performance: ‘You’ve sung much better before.'”
The brother was right: in the end it wasn’t enough for Marco. The jury unanimously said no.
