The 58-year-old singer is canceling his concerts for the next few months to rest his vocal cords.

Singer Miossec announced on Instagram that he was canceling his 2023 tour. “This is a speech to let you know that mine is currently being repaired, vocal cords needing attention,” he wrote.

“As a result Wart is currently in the process of rescheduling each tour date from February 24, you will be promptly informed,” the 58-year-old singer added, before thanking his fans “for (their) understanding and (their) patience.”

Miossec took advantage of this message to also thank his fans for the welcome given to his latest album, Simplify, released on February 17. Miossec’s message recalls that of Stromae a few weeks ago, which had decided to cancel its concerts until May.

“I have to resign myself to the fact that my health unfortunately does not allow me to continue coming to meet you for the moment,” said the Belgian singer.

“I have to listen to my limits,” he added. “Surrounded by my family, I must take the time to recover to resume, when I can, the rest of the concerts. I hope to give you more positive news as soon as possible.”
