The lack of freedom

Even if he is happy to live from his passion, Slimane did not hesitate to point out what bothers him the most in his job. “Notoriety, it takes away a part of your freedom. Especially since I have a child. It changes because that it’s really complicated when you’re walking around and people stop you and you don’t necessarily want your daughter to be photographed“, he confided. Nevertheless, Slimane makes sure not to deprive himself so that Esmeralda does not suffer the consequences because, he says, his happiness comes first.
