The eighth season of the RTL show is in the starting blocks. Now the broadcaster has announced the couples of this year’s “Summer House of the Stars”.
This year, the eighth season of the show “Das Sommerhaus der Stars” is running on RTL. In the format, celebrity couples live together under one roof for weeks and compete against each other in games. They nominate each other and are thrown out one by one, until in the end there is a winning duo that wins 50,000 euros.
In 2022 it was the then “Bauer sucht Frau” couple Patrick Romer and Antonia Hemmer, previously “Unter uns” star Lars Steinhöfel and his partner Dominik Schmitt won – they are all, like more than 20 former couples on the show, now separated. Now the next celebrities who want to subject their relationship to a stress test on TV have been determined.
What awaits the celebrities in the “House of Misery”
On Monday, RTL announced this year’s eight “Summer House of the Stars” couples. Accordingly, designer Claudia Obert and her 37-year-old partner Max Suhr are part of the eighth season. The two have been in a relationship since 2022 and are already talking about wedding and children’s plans.
Pop star Tim Toupet and his companion, Malle singer Carina Crone, will provide musical entertainment. Ex-GZSZ actor and jungle camper Eric Stehfest and his wife Edith are also there. Just like Joey Heindle’s ex Justine Dippl with Arben Zekic and the soap actress Pia Tillmann and Zico Banach.
In addition, some reality stars join the round. Aleksandar Petrovic and Vanessa Nwattu were on Temptation Island VIP in 2022. Aleks attended with his girlfriend Christina Dimitriou, Vanessa seduced him and they walked out of the show as a new couple. Maurice Dziwak and Ricarda “Ricky” Raatz met on “Are You The One”, Valentina Doronina last took part in “Promi Big Brother” and got engaged to Can Kaplan in front of the cameras.
According to RTL, the shooting of the eighth season has started, all eight couples have already moved in. According to the station, the celebrities can expect “a kitchen full of smells, hardly any space to look, many corners to get dirty and a wet room model of stress source” in the “little house of misery”. As always, the new episodes of “Das Sommerhaus der Star – Kampf der Promipaare” are to be broadcast in late summer, but there is no specific date yet.
