The earthquake in Turkey and Syria unleashed a network of solidarity messages and two Argentine soccer players who play in that country expressed themselves about the tragedy, which has already left more than 1,300 dead.

For his part, Kucas Biglia, a former member of the Argentine National Team who played in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, spoke through a story on his official Instagram account and shared his club’s statement.

“We wish God’s mercy to our citizens who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and was felt in many cities, and we wish a speedy recovery to our injured citizens.”
